CALL FOR PROPOSALS, POSTER SESSIONS, & LIGHTNING TALKSThe Wisconsin Association of Academic Libraries (WAAL) Conference will be held Wednesday, April 20 through Friday, April 22 at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel in Brookfield. This year's event, themed "Open Minds, Open Doors," offers you a variety of opportunities to share new ideas: Session Proposals (Deadline extended to 2/25/2022) The Planning Committee invites proposals for presentations, panels, and workshops. Plan for presentations to last for 50 minutes, including Q & A. We look forward to proposals that will inspire change and highlight new opportunities, diverse experiences, and creative thinking. WAAL welcomes proposals from any area of libraries, archives, museums and cultural organizations, or higher education. Poster Session and Lightning Talks (Due 2/25/2022)Poster session proposals are welcome from all who have ideas to share with Wisconsin's academic library community. All poster presentations MUST be in a digital format (i.e., an image, a set of slides, a video) when submitted. If desired, presenters may also print their poster and bring it to the conference to be displayed in the conference center. Awards will be presented for Best Content and Best Visual Display. Submit a poster session proposal Don’t think you have enough information for a poster or a presentation? The Planning Committee would like to give everyone the opportunity to present topics, no matter how small, through Lightning Talks! Each presenter should plan to speak for 5 minutes on their topic in a recorded video that will be posted to the WAAL conference website. Submit a lightning talk proposal Questions?
